Spirometer software for the professionals

Spiro2000 is designed to meet with the demanding requirements of professional lung function testing. The user interface is graphical, and it emulates familiar windows environment. The software is easy to install as it will configure automatically number of key settings, such as the serial port. The operation is simple including patient data entry, measurement selection, test recording and data comparison. The open database connectivity (ODBC) makes it simple to communicate with other databases, such as hospital information systems. Spiro2000 works well on stand-alone system as well as in local area network. The final report can be modified to meet the needs of the physician. HTML format of the final report allows the operator to email the results to a recipient, who can view the results with a standard browser program. Comments can be added and emailed to the consulting physician with ease. System calibration can be verified with calibration log data making the system ideal for quality control.

Flexibility is built into the program. Parameters, reporting format, dimensions and predicted values can be selected by the operator making it simple to use the software in clinics, hospitals and doctors' offices. Additional features include BTPS correction and the best test criteria selection. Spiro2000 is compatible with standard and laptop computers using MS Windows.
