During the NLC 2009 in Århus, Denmark we offered doctors who visited our stand, a chance to win a spirometer by participating in a quiz. The task was to answer 6 questions concerning Medikro spirometers and Nigaard Pharma Aridol / Osmohale mannitol provocation test kit.

The correct answers were:

• Aridol/Osmohale is the only bronchial provocation test that are approved by the authorities in EU.
• A positive mannitol test tells you that this is an asthma diagnose. A negative test suggest no active inflammation at present. In high doses mannitol maybe be useful for mucociliart clearance.
