The Medikro® SpiroSafe flow transducer is a disposable pneumotach. M9293 Bacterial & Viral Filters protects the operators of spirometry tests, while the Medikro® SpiroSafe flow transducers protect the patients from cross contamination. Both products are single use, and thereby eliminate the need for disinfection and sterilisation, facilitating maximum patient throughput. Every single flow transducer is individually verified for accuracy.
SpiroSafe is designed to increase safety by preventing patient-to-patient cross-contamination. SpiroSafe helps to protect the environment by producing up to 78% less waste than standard bacteria filters. Medikro disposable flow transducers are made of polyethylene and can be disposed of by incineration without producing toxic emissions.

Medikro Twist-to-Connect makes attachment and removal of SpiroSafe flow transducers easy and fast.
